Arizona! (Pictures)

Last fall, our family took a trip to Arizona for Thanksgiving. While we were there, we enjoyed pie, friends, family, and my famous sugar cranberries. There were walks with Princess (the dog) and games of tag. I actually fell onto an agave, but that’s a different story...

However, whilst Arizona was quite fun, possibly even more exciting was the plane ride there! Waking up at 5, rushing to the car, 4 hours of driving to Georgia, and then the flight. So, without further ado, here are some pictures from our plane ride, and also one picture of Caroline and her stuffed fox, Celia.

 Here is some sticker art I have been working on recently.  This one is a butterfly. I also have a hummingbird. How this works is you have a sheet of paper, then there is a couple sheets of stickers. The paper is divided up into tiny sections of various shapes, each with a code on it. (Ex: A12. B3, D40.) Every single shape on there is an individual sticker, placed on it’s respective shot. They have to fit perfectly, or there are weird gaps. Every sticker is only one color, but together they make a picture.  Each sticker on the sheet of paper has a number next to it, so you peel it off, then find the matching number. It’s pretty cool, and it is fun to do while listening to music or in quiet time.

😺 Finnikin! 😺

  Most of you probably don’t know yet, but we have a new cat! His name is Finnikin—After the book Finnikin of the Rock. He is light orange with stripes, and very cuddly. He isn’t as arrogant or proud as Basil, and loooves to snuggle with us! How did we end up with a new cat? It started January 13th, 2021, and it was about 9:30 at night. I was lying in bed and I heard a sad meowing sound. I got my dad, and when we went to investigate we found a tiny, orange, kitty! He was very cold and skinny, so we brought him inside and made him warm and gave him some food. We weren’t planning on keeping him but we were taking care of him. For the first 2 days, All he did was meow. Meow, meow, meow, cuddle, meow, rub against me, meow, eat, meow. Eventually after lots of petting and exploring our basement, he got comfortable in our home. Eventually, I was so attached to him I asked my Dad if we could keep him!
